Like lots of people, I listen to the radio in the morning, watch the TV news and read the occasional paper. I often wondered how the media found these ‘worldrenowned expert scientists’ who seem to have a special media friendly gene. The type who can articulate complicated topics in a few easy, wellreasoned points, and who are certainly never flustered by the slightly sneaky last question on the interviewer's prompt sheet.
