    Latarjet osteotomy is a common surgical procedure used to treat recurrent should dislocation. In the latest issue of Bioscience Reports (volume 39, issue 11), Deng et al. explore the characteristics of blood supply to the coracoid process (CP) before and after Latarjet osteotomy. The cover shows a hematoxylin and eosin stain of an embalmed specimen (100x field). No vessel was detected at the conjoint tendon (left) and CP (right) interface. The CP will become a bone block without blood supply after the Latarjet osteotomy procedure.
