In the latest issue of Clinical Science (volume 133, issue 17), Cao et al. investigate the effects of a high-fat diet on the sympathetic nerve system. Their findings suggest that such a diet triggers a sympathetic reflex from white adipose tissue, ultimately leading to a reduction in peripheral glucose uptake. This cover features a double-stain showing the localisation of AGT and Ang II in adipose tissue.
