The incidence of inflammatory bowel disease has increased dramatically over the past two decades. In the latest issue of Clinical Science (volume 133, issue 8), Zhang et al. explore the potential of clinical compound LY3009120 as an inhibitor of necroptosis - a key process in the pathogenesis of IBD. This cover shows immunohistochemically stained mouse colon tissue from the study.
