The cover of this edition of Clinical Science is comprised of representative images for pericyte markers including CD13 (top left), PDGFRβ (top right), NG2 (bottom right) and Atp13a5 (bottom left). Immunocytochemistry results provide evidence that some cells show greater staining for α-SMA (centre) and NG2 while all cells stain positive for PDGRβ, CD13, and ATP13a5 under normal growth conditions.
