Translating molecular bioscience and experimental research into medical insights, Clinical Science offers comprehensive studies using a multi-disciplinary approach including models of human disease and clinical perspectives to advance human health.
Clinical Science, published by Portland Press on behalf of the Biochemical Society, is a single-anonymous peer-reviewed hybrid journal offering the option to publish open access (OA). The Biochemical Society was founded in 1911 and, given its breadth of coverage within the life sciences, continues to attract a strong membership community; Portland Press is the publishing arm of the Biochemical Society, with all profits being returned to the Society for them to carry out their charitable endeavours.
The journal’s international Editorial Board, led by Editor-in-Chief Michael J. Ryan (University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, USA), is charged with selecting peer-reviewed original papers of the highest scientific merit covering the broad spectrum of biomedical specialities including, although not exclusively:- Cardiovascular system

Publishing with us is completely free under a standard license, and Clinical Science does not charge page fees, publication charges or colour fees.
